Boris Gelfand has won the seventh game of the Anand-Gelfand match, and has now taken a one-game lead with five games remaining. He conducted a very impressive queenless mating attack. As GM Sergey Shipov says, Anand was “not recognizable” in this game, first playing excessively cautiously and then creating uncharacteristic weaknesses.
